Doggie came to us having been through things no animal should endure. She was very abused — but she was also resilient, brave in her own quiet way, and capable of a love so deep it surprised us all.
She became part of a family of five, and she found her place in each of our hearts — but especially in Sol's. From the very beginning, those two shared something extraordinary.

Round and round she'd go. Anxious energy turned into her signature move. You always knew when Doggie had feelings — she'd spin.
She didn't fetch, she didn't do tricks on command, she did things her own way. And that's exactly why we loved her.
She carried her past with her, but she let us in anyway. That's the bravest thing of all.
Five hearts, one Doggie
From the very beginning, their bond was something everyone in the family could see. Doggie was there from Sol's earliest days, and the connection between them was next level. Everyone had their own relationship with Doggie — but we all recognized that Sol and Doggie? That was something else entirely.
